Courses at the Jewish Artist Center
The Jewish Artist Center offers a variety of courses for all ages and skill levels. We work individually with each student to help shape the curriculum and projects based upon their goals and abilities. In our classes you design and build work that has meaning to you. Guided by our professional staff, you will quickly learn the tools and skill necessary to improve in the technical and creative process, and return home with work that you have made. Courses are offered all year long as weekly courses, meeting once a week for three hours; intensive workshops that run four days a week for two to three weeks; and an accredited four-month program.
Weekly Courses
Weekly courses are offered in wood, glass, and metal, or the combination of materials. This course is popular among the local population in Tzur Hadassa, Jerusalem, and Bet Shemesh areas, and some students join from as far as Tel Aviv. Classes are small and a lot of individual attention is given to each student. Students work on projects of their choice within the scope of their abilities. Classes meet once a week for around 2 hours, with a minimum sign up of eight classes. Space is limited. Join anytime space is available. Specific time may be flexible depending upon your schedule.
