Jewish Artist Center
The Jewish Artist Center was developed by Gabriel Bass as an opportunity for Jewish artists to learn from and work together. Our spacious studio houses every tool necessary for beginner to experienced artist to create in an efficient and comfortable manner. Jewish Artist Center staff is always available to guide you through the process of creation from design to technical training to assure that you are proud of the work you produce here. We offer a variety of opportunities for artists to be involved including membership in our data base, courses, residencies, apprenticeships, studio rentals, and a forum for artistic exploration.
Artists are invited to participate in the Jewish Artists Center in a variety of ways. Sign up is free and allows artists to enter into our data base for partnerships with other members, use of the forum for assistance and inspiration, studio rental access, apprenticeship and artist-in-residence opportunities. Membership is currently free and features link to your website. Sign up now.
The Jewish Artist Center offers a variety of courses for the beginning to expert craftsmen in carpentry, carving, glass blowing, glass bead-making, jewelry, and metal work. We have developed a unique way of teaching that focuses attention on each student based upon their abilities and goals. Weekly, intensive, and accredited courses are available year round. Enter our virtual studio to watch a variety of woodworking, glass, and metal techniques. Our 400 square meter studio are equipped with state-of-the-art and alluring hand tools. Gabriel and his team of skilled Jewish craftsmen build every project with the finest raw materials and have developed unique techniques for production of contemporary and traditional design. Watch our craftsmen at work through educational videos, photos, and text in our Virtual Studios.
Monday, September 23rd Gabriel will be showing his work at the Moshav Country Fair on Moshav Modiim. This is an incredibly fun event with lots of great people, terrific music, food, sukkot, and artists of all types. Look forward to seeing you there.read more
